Employee Request Type

Overview

The Employee Request Type module is used to create, manage, and view the various types of requests that employees can submit. Each request is associated with a responsible person who manages or reviews the request type.


Purpose
The Employee Request Type module helps categorize employee requests into different types and assigns a responsible person for each request type. This allows for better management and tracking of employee requests across various categories, ensuring that each request is handled appropriately.

Employee Request Type List Page
The Employee Request Type List page displays all request types created in the system in a structured table format. It shows the employee request type, the responsible person, and provides options to manage (edit or delete) each request type.

Field Description
Field Name Description
Action Allows editing or deleting an existing request type.
Employee Request Type Displays the name of the request type (e.g., "Harassment," "HR").
Responsible Person Displays the name(s) of the person(s) assigned to manage the request type.

Other Functionalities
  • Search Bar: Allows searching for request types by name.
  • Add Request Type: Opens the form to add a new request type.

Request Type Page
The Add Request Type form is used to create a new employee request type or edit an existing one.
Fields Description
Field Name Description
Employee Request Type Enter the name of the new request type Mandatory field.
Responsible Person Select the person responsible for handling the request type from the list Mandatory field.
Buttons
  • Save: Saves the new request type into the system.
  • Close: Closes the form without saving.

How to Add an Employee Request Type
  1. Navigate to the Employee Request Type section.
  2. Click the + Add Request Type button.
  3. Fill in the required details
    • Employee Request Type: Enter the name of the request type example HR Policy.
    • Responsible Person: Select the person who will be responsible for managing this request type.
  4. Click Save to save the request type or Close to exit without saving.

How to Edit or Delete an Employee Request Type
  1. Edit: Click the pencil icon next to the request type you want to modify. Update the necessary details and click Save.
  2. Delete: Click the trash icon next to the request type you wish to remove. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
